I Am That - What is “That”? - November 2012

This DVD begins with Ngeton posing this question to her students. A dialogue ensues and the consideration culminates into a crystal clear teaching on the statement, I Am That. In the second section, she gives a pointing out instruction on the recognition of pure Awareness.

Luminous Presence - April 2012

With characteristic humor, Ngeton proposes that we stop the egoic journey of “becoming”. She emphasizes that the ego is an activity of conceptualization, not a state. She says to be intuitive that when we are open and present, that this emptiness, which is not a void, is full of luminous presence. Pointing out instructions are given for mastering attention. She also discusses emotion as a modification of feeling and that disturbances are repeatedly expressed and held in the mind because of an unwillingness to forgive.

Awakening - October 2011

Ngeton opens with a discourse on the two functions of mind, Illumination and Consideration. She gives very accessible examples of how the mind deliberates and becomes deluded. The second section begins with  a teaching on the concept of “surrender” as the relinquishing of the false deluded mind. She gives a pointing out instruction on the recognition of pure consciousness.

Ultimate Refuge - April 2011

In this DVD Ngeton talks about the world situation, the interdependence of Humanity and shifting from selfish materialism to right relationship through loving kindness. She points out the need for understanding the egoic mind as suffering and not giving it the seat of subjectivity, but rather putting the attention on the eternal principal of pure awareness.

Inherent Wakefulness - October 2010

This DVD expresses an exceptionally broad range and Universality of Ngeton’s teachings. She emphasizes that what keeps us from recognizing inherent wakefulness is the deluded mind, born out of ignorance.

Illuminating Consciousness - October 2009

The opening statement of this teaching is "know the true as the true and the false as the false." Ngeton emphasizes that the apparent ego-structure is discerned through illuminating consciousness. She gives a teaching on forgiveness that goes straight to the heart.

The Wind of Pristine Awareness - July 2008

When the Great Wind of Pristine Awareness (mind nature), is directly cognized the karmic winds of delusion desire and aversion are overcome. In this teaching Ngeton emphasizes that cyclic existence must be understood for full liberation. She gives everyday examples and accessible application of this understanding.

(An elucidation of the karmic winds based on the systems of Buddhist Tantra by Jamgön Kongtrul Lodro Thayé.)

Enlightenment Unplugged - January 2008

This teaching addresses two aspects of mind; pure perceiving and the abstract, conceptual mind - a "virtual reality". Ngeton clarifies misconceptions about void and emptiness, and gives a teaching/practice on pure perceiving. She points out that good attributes, such as compassion and loving-kindness, are infinite.

An Affair of the Heart

a memoir by Ngeton

"This book is a brief account of my search for happiness, love, and enlightenment. I avoided nothing. I left no rock unturned. In my ignorance I thought relationships, sex, drugs, alcohol, and religion would fulfill what I was looking for. I played my part with great passion, and pursued each rainbow to its end.

Gradually I came to realize the inherent suffering in all experience, because all experience is objective and at best temporary. Life is always changing, passing – impermanent.

My seeking then turned from objective experience to wanting to know the truth of my being –

Who am I? What is my True Nature?

I was relentless in my search.

By the Grace of God and the Wisdom of my Gurus, I awakened from the dream of life to the Truth of my Nature –

Love

            Bliss

                        Happiness Itself!

May this brief account of my ignorance and subsequent awakening help to serve the Truth in All."

~ Ngeton, Maui, 1999

"I am eternally grateful to all my Gurus and teachers for their Grace, Wisdom, and teachings:
